The other day I posted that Obama was still against using chain-weighting to both correctly make price adjustments for entitlements, and to save some money to boot.
But I was going on speculation. Obama’s budget proposal is officially out, and it does advocate chain-weighting. This will save $230B over 10 years. It’s not a ton, but it’s pretty good for doing something we should have done a long time ago.
